WARM GIFTS FOR COLD WINTER DAYS

Congregation de Notre-Dame Associates and friends from Stamford, CT recently used their knitting talents to gift others. Hats, scarves and mittens were made and given to students who attend Children’s Community School (CCS) in Waterbury, CT. Stamford Associates Kitty and Candice met Associate Ellen from Waterbury for a “visitation lunch” before Ellen delivered the homemade gifts to CCS. Children from CCS truly loved their new winter accessories!

ORIENTATION 2021-2026 PRESENTATION BY MARYANN CALABRESE, CND

On January 22, the Associate Sustainability Committee presented Session 4 of Living Out Our Orientation–"Intentionally Live and Deepen Interculturality and Intergenerationality" facilitated by Maryann Calabrese, CND. Sisters and Associates reflected on key points from our Orientation using the lens of Visitation (journey, visit, song) and cultural humility (empathy, attentiveness, vulnerability). We are grateful to Maryann for her inspiring presentation and encouraging us to enter every encounter by simply caring (radical caring that makes operative the work of God), listening to stories, honoring people’s perspectives (even those that are different from ours), and allowing ourselves to be transformed by vulnerability. Just as God embraces us, we are called to embrace others!
