Associate Relationship and Central Committee Meeting
Associate Relationship held its annual meeting at the Mother House from August 1 to August 4, 2023, the last day being reserved for the Central Committee meeting. Held under the theme “Embrace the Possibilities,” this first “in-person” meeting since 2019 was an opportunity for everyone to get together.
To also reconnect with the history of Marguerite Bourgeoys, Thursday afternoon of August 3 was spent on a visit to Maison Saint-Gabriel, museum and historic site. A plaque commemorating the 40th anniversary of Associate Relationship (1981–2021) was affixed near the wayside cross in front of the Maison. The associates donated daisies to flower the area. This day in the footsteps of Marguerite Bourgeoys ended with a prayer of gratitude and a pleasant snack!
