CND Kingston Celebration with the Sisters of Providence

On Saturday, November 4th, the Sisters of the Congregation de Notre-Dame in the Kingston area were invited to join the Sisters of Providence for a Eucharistic celebration followed by a festive dinner to mark the closing of their last General Chapter. This historical Chapter marked a pivotal point in their journey toward completion as a Congregation, the Sisters of Providence of St. Vincent de Paul of Kingston. Sister Sandra Shannon, General Superior, stated, “it is with much mixed emotions that we have reached this point in our history, but we walk with much hope in what lies ahead for us as a Congregation.”
