Comisión de Bienvenida (Welcoming Commission)

The Comisión de Bienvenida (Welcoming Commission) of our West Haven parish, pictured here, has served over 50 immigrant families at a local food bank and brought them to our 2 CND garages to receive free clothes and furniture. Recently, we were able to find a family a place to stay when they were homeless. When they came to say thank you, they gave me a sketch, drawn by the daughter, of the hands of God reaching out and caring for them. They are now on their way to Chicago to stay with family there. We pray that they will be safe and blessed in their new life.
