General Conference June 2025

Dear Sisters and Associates,

Happy feast of the Holy Trinity, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. What grace! The feast of the Holy Trinity is an expression of the depth of God’s love; God refuses to understand himself without human beings.

We, the members of the General Conference, are all gathered at the Mother House this June 15, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. In a spirit of Visitation, we catch up with one another in natural cordiality; then, we gather at the heart of Marguerite Bourgeoys in prayerful listening and conversation under the theme of the garden and the Divine Gardener.

Where are you growing in your faith? What are you planting and are you planting it near thorns? How are you prepping the good soil that you have? Are you adding in fertilizer and topsoil for “extra” nourishment? How much care are you using to plant your seeds?… So many questions that helped or guided this moment of conversational silence with Marguerite and the Trinity in order to write a personal prayer to share.

Marguerite Bourgeoys still tells us today: “Let us work then to cultivate flowers and fruits worthy to be presented to Him through the hands of the Blessed Virgin, our dear Mother, our worthy teacher and first superior. If we put our minds to this, we will find no di\iculty in poor and humiliating tasks, in following the way of perfection and in having God present in everything we do so as to please Him alone. ”
In this time of great change and transformation, may this wisdom always bring us comfort. Thank you so much for supporting us with your prayers.
