Laudato Sí’ Part II Release on October 4, 2023

Pope Francis is scheduled to release a new apostolic exhortation on the environment on October 4th, the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi. We may remember that the publication of his first encyclical in 2015 was key in urging the Paris COP to push for a stop to the deterioration of our planet. We know that we are in a very special moment. Pope Francis constantly urges us to consider future generations and make small changes to lighten our footprint on the Earth. A reread of Laudato Sí offers a boost in nurturing our HOPE. We need each other and we pray that we can help each other in caring for our common home.
