Leading into the Future: Green and Hopeful

On March 22-23 three CNDs were grateful to gather with many others at St Paul University to celebrate the official launch of the School of Leadership, Ecology and Equity. This was a long and remarkable JOURNEY and an evolving DREAM coming to be. Professor Heather Eaton was honored and received The Thomas Berry Award for her tireless “Great Work”, research, and publication in the areas of Integral Ecology, Theology of Thomas Berry and Transformative Leadership.

The CND was invited to contribute to the work of St Paul University through this new venture which models our deep commitment and mission call to be agents of transformation and protectors of our common home. Ona Bessette, CND, was invited to speak of our CND support. Clara Nasello and I were also present. On Saturday there were engaging panels on diverse aspects of Integral Ecology, Spirituality in Social Transformation and Eco-Justice. We were challenged to KEEP MOVING towards further action for the healing of our earth and all our relationships. We are ALL called to be cultivators of a new worldview.
