Miramichi News…

Alcide and Gemma celebrated 40 years of Congregation de Notre-Dame Associates Relationship. Alcide said he believes he is the first man in Atlantic Canada to be an Associate. The Miramichi group also celebrated Alcide’s 90th birthday. A prayer service and intercessions were recited and the group celebrated the beauty of creation. The Congregation de Notre-Dame spirit is very active in the Miramichi group.


Marguerite Allison-Ross and her Woodstock group assisted with the 40th Anniversary of Congregation de Notre-Dame Associate Relationship and the 40th Anniversary of the Canonization of Saint Marguerite Bourgeoys on Sunday Oct. 30, 2022. They replied to the prayerful Intercessions. There were over 150 participants from Visitation Province and their interpreters all praying together. Thank you to Anna Rowley and her 40th Anniversary of Congregation de Notre-Dame Associate Relationship Committee for sharing many events this past year.


Holy Angels and St. Theresa’s group met at the home of Lorette in September. The 40th Anniversary Prayer Service was reflected upon. A welcome was extended to new pending journeying associate Beverly. Sister Simone Abbass did the blessing. A birthday cake was enjoyed on the occasion of Lorrette’s birthday.


Mass For Shut-Ins Celebrates its 60th season

The taping of the feast of St. Marguerite Bourgeoys will take place January 7th with a viewing on CTV January 15,2023.

This new season taping of the masses will be held at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church on Cabot St. Sydney N.S. We are grateful to parish priest Fr. Bill Burke and the Parish for welcoming us to televise the Mass from their Church.

Visitation Province Coordinators Meetings

Held on Oct 21, 22, 23, 2022

The spiritual session of our meeting was presented by Sister Maureen Baldwin. She shared a model of the Canadian Ignatius Spirituality Project. Her theme was entitled “Finding Home”. Sister’s presentation was educational and very enriching sharing in the life of the addicted as they face fear and trust. Women who are vulnerable.
