Official Visit of the General Leadership Team in Visitation Province – May 22, 2024
We had a beautiful day yesterday with summer temperatures here in Charlottetown.
A visit to Safe, an organisation run by the Sisters of St. Martha here, which gives people suffering from mental health the chance to be and exist without judgement. It is an enormous project. We pray for Sister Laura and all the volunteers. Let us not forget all the people who find a little peace, friendship and love when they come to this place where so many activities are offered.
At the beginning of the afternoon, as a Council, we had the joy and privilege of spending a time of sharing with the Associates. Thank you for sharing your faith, courage, hope and love with us.
We took advantage of the beautiful weather and went for a walk on the bay, not far from where the first CNDs docked at Prince Edward Island, before joining our sisters for a moment of sororal sharing over a good Chinese take-out meal.
Another beautiful day of Visitation. See you soon.
Thank you for your prayers and your love.
Greetings from the ferry – en route to Nova Scotia!
