Official Visit of the Leadership Team to Blessed Sacrament Province
Our official visit to Blessed Sacrament Province has begun. We left the Mother House by car at 7:30 a.m. and arrived around 4:30 p.m. After crossing the US border, we enjoyed the beautiful autumn foliage and had lunch. The provincial council welcomed us at the summer house and we had a pleasant conversation.
Before dinner, there was a welcome party on Zoom where we received warm words of welcome from the participants, including Sister Sophie, who was unable to attend the official visit due to visa restrictions.
We were given bags to help us with our upcoming visit, featuring beautiful illustrations designed by an associate.
On Sunday, October 13th, the beautiful sunrise felt like a blessing from God for our visit. The Blessed Sacrament Provincial Council and General Council meetings were held from 10:00 a.m. to just after 4:00 p.m. With the help of well-prepared materials, we were able to understand the history, current situation, and challenges of the province. There was even a map of the destinations we were going to visit. In addition, at 5:00 p.m., a hybrid gathering with the associates was held both in-person and via Zoom, and Sister Sophie also participated. Afterwards, we had dinner with the associates, and were able to further deepen our discussions.
