Official Visit of the Leadership Team to Blessed Sacrament Province

On the morning of October 26th, the General Council members and about 60 sisters gathered in the auditorium of Villa Maria Academy. Sister Sophie and several sisters participated in the meeting via Zoom. There was lively exchange of opinions and questions in each group, and the venue was filled with excitement.

In the afternoon, a review of the Blessed Sacrament Province was held based on a prayer prepared by the Province. Three associates also joined in the afternoon.

On October 28th, we visited the United Nations where Sister Melba works. In the morning, we received an explanation from two people in charge about the vision and mission of the Justice Coalition of Religious (JCoR). Sister Sophie also participated in this meeting via Zoom.

In the afternoon, staff from the NGO UNANIMA International gave us an explanation about their activities. Sister Sophie was also able to attend this conference. Afterwards, we had a tour of the United Nations and were able to understand what kind of support is currently being provided.

In the evening we had dinner and shared with the sisters from Apartment B of Saint Jean Convent.
