Official visit of the Leadership Team to Visitation Province – May 16

In Miramichi, we had Mass, followed by lunch and a meeting with our associates. Then there was the moment of sharing with Sisters Marie St-Coeur and Eleanor McCloskey, two wise women. One is at Parkland in Fredericton, and the other is at Parkland in Miramichi. They are on a mission in these places, and they appreciate the presence of the associates.

Sister Marie St-Cœur is the only CND sister at the Miramichi seniors’ home. Sister Marie spoke of her difficult beginnings in community and how, in the wake of Vatican II, she spread her wings: teacher, parish youth ministry, hospital volunteer. A full life!
