And now for the cherry on top! A Zoom meeting with Sister Évangeline Mengue, who is studying agricultural engineering in Ivory Coast. It was a wonderful meeting, and Évangeline’s passion for agriculture and love for the region really shone through.

Being able to share with Sister Évangeline in this way represented another Magnificat moment for the Council.

Tomorrow, we are going to meet with the High Commissioner of Canada in Cameroon, the equivalent of an ambassador. We hope to discuss the issues connected to immigration and travel for the sisters and CND associates to see if we can come up with a solution.
