Official visit to the Notre-Dame-des-Apôtres Region_22 GOOD BYE!

Here are the last moments of our visit.

This meeting with the High Commissioner was the last official stop of the General Council’s visit to the Notre-Dame-des-Apôtres Region.

The two Councils united

We had a good meeting despite the internet issues we experienced, and we were supported by the patience, compassion and flexibility of our interpreters in Canada throughout.

The meeting between the two Councils was followed by a blessing and farewell ceremony organized by the regional administration. The General Council then offered the Region some gifts: a Sanctoral missal and liturgical vessels.

Gifts for the Notre-Dame-des-Apôtres Region

At noon on Sunday, the entire region sang the Magnificat and thanked the General Council for its presence, love, sharing and advice, promising to continue to grow and learn.

And then it was time for the General Council to leave the Notre-Dame-des-Apôtres Region. It was a wonderful, enriching visit. The sisters, associates and collaborators of the sisters’ mission were very grateful for this visit. As a Council, we gave thanks for everything that is experienced and accomplished in this part of the world.

We gave special thanks to all the sisters and associates that joined us in prayer during this month. Know that we greatly appreciated all your responses to what we shared during our visit.
