Prayer for the Coming Summer

Lord, it is the summer that warms us,

summer with its winds and its storms,

but also summer with its long sunny evenings,

I present to you the storms of my life

that provoked my fears and often, my anger.

Also see the lulls of my life,

Soft as sunsets over a sleeping lake.
