Prayer for the Holiday Season

My God, it is the holiday season, the time of rejoicing.

Good for pleasures and joys of the others

who sing, who dance, who are happy!

I have no ounce of jealousy for their happiness.

Only, it pains me

to think of all those who cannot celebrate.

Isolation, it pains me. You, stay with me.
