Third day of the Vocational Fair

We took turns with morning and afternoon shifts again today. About 500 young people came in the morning alone.

Pope Francis had a welcoming ceremony starting at 5:30 p.m., so we went to Edward VII Park, which is a little closer to our hotel.

There were a lot of people. Pope Francis’ speech was given in Portuguese, and people were able to hear a translation to their languages on the radio.

The Pope’s words “Invite Todos (everyone) to the church” seemed to touch everyone’s hearts.

This experience has been unimaginable …peace and joy…what a gift to be together with over a million young people who share the same faith and love of our Lord. Amen!
