Last weekend, Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Toronto, held its Annual Bazaar. As usual, the toy ministry exhibited all of its goods in the garden of the Rectory. The coordinator of the Toy Ministry, Frances Cresswell, was on the job by 7:30 a.m. and managed the ship throughout the day. She was aided by friends, associates and CNDs.

By 2:30 in the afternoon, almost all of the toys were either sold or given away at half price or even lower. Toyland, alone brought in almost $1000 for the parish needs. The two boxes that remained unsold will be sent to the Philippines.

The next big “toy” event is Christmas!

As you may see,

“a good time was had by all!”
