Visits During the Month of March with Christa

Here are some pictures of some visits that Christa and I made in March! The joy of visitation! Christa continues her internship at Resilience and she also appreciates being able to go to the Mother House (which is located close to her place of internship), to talk with the sisters and celebrate the Eucharist with them! A grace! She is really very grateful for all the welcome we give her! Magnificat! The last weekend of March was particularly imbued with this joy of the Visitation!

On Friday March 25, the Feast of the Annunciation, we were invited to share a time of prayer for peace and a meal with the Sisters of Marie-des-Neiges. Thank you again to everyone for this beautiful time of sharing and communion.

On Sunday March 27, we went on a visitation tour to the Résidence de Bon- Secours. When we look at these photos, we notice what beautiful visits and invigorating exchanges we had! See “Elisabeth and Mary” here! And Lise's beautiful smile, who had just celebrated her 80th birthday! Magnificat!

Then in accompaniment, with Lorraine Caza, we visited the community of sisters of Mary of Peace. What a grace!

It was a real pleasure to see the radiant faces and the attentive gazes of each one when Christa shared her experience. In turn, Christa asked them to tell a little about their stories.

Another highlight of our visit to Résidence Notre- Dame-de-Bon-Secours was meeting Gilberte. What testimony! What an inspiring woman! Thank you again Gilberte for your time and your open heart.

After the visit to the Bon Secours residence, we went to share a meal with our sisters from the Mother House. What a welcome, always!

After the meal, we took a time for discussion where Christa shared, in French and in English, the experience she has been living at Resilience and since her arrival in Montreal.

It was a mutual sharing because later, sisters in turn spoke about their mission experiences.
