Welcome, Christa!

For over three weeks now, Marguerite-Bourgeoys Province has welcomed Christa from Blessed Sacrament Province U.S.). Christa came to live an experience in Montreal as part of her year of apostolic novitiate.

It is with joy that the Emmaus Community opened its apartment doors in the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve neighbourhood. She will stay there until the end of April.

The place where Christa lives her experience is called Resilience Montréal. It is a homeless shelter.

In this photo, Christa is in front of the door where she enters to be of service (meals, dishwashing, clothes sorting) from Monday to Thursday.

In addition to her experience, Christa is taking French lessons. It is beautiful and inspiring to see how motivated she is!

In her spare time, Christa discovered winter sports J Photo taken on Mount Royal.

The community of Notre-Dame de  Québec gave us a warm and inviting welcome during our visit to Quebec City on February 11-12! Once again, a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of the dear sisters!

Finally, to each one of you reading this message, thank you for your communion in prayer as she broadens her experience at the Congregation de Notre-Dame!
